“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.” —Proverbs 11:2
Break Free from the Chains of Pride
Have you ever found yourself in a challenging situation, pondering why things unfolded the way they did? Just when you feel close to a breakthrough, it seems like a thousand leeches are pulling your ankles back and causing you to fall flat on your face.

You feel so discouraged that you are losing the breakthrough that God released to you that you prayed in, that you had so many people helping you pray for. This message is for you.
I thank you for pouring out your anointing upon this blog I ask you Lord Jesus that you would release your words in and through me.
Spirit of the Living God I ask that you empower me to touch your people to help them to understand that yes, it is ok to say, “I was wrong, please forgive me? Can we pray about this?” And then you go ahead, and you pray, and you ask the Lord to forgive you. You repent, you repent for the pride.
Pride causes a fall. Pride causes a fall in a marriage. Pride causes a fall in all relationships. Pride will cause the fall of a nation, which is what you saw the United States experience since 2020. However, we also saw a nation unite, which mirrors what must happen in marriages, families, work teams, and ministry teams. Coming together in unity and one accord is a MUST!
You MUST take the time to stop, pause, and pray. To invite the beautiful Holy Spirit in to lead and guide the thoughts, the decisions, and the words that are made. It’s vital for you to honor your patriarchs—those special people whom God has strategically placed in your life to help guide you to the next level. Respect, pray for, and acknowledge these individuals, as they can help you become the best version of yourself so you can accomplish the great work that God has in store for you.
The Path of the Remnant Church
This morning, as I was up praying, the Lord showed me something that really, resonated with me. He helped me to recall this dream I had the night before, where Jesus showed me the earth and the remnant coming back together. He’s accelerating all of us because there’s so much that He wants us to get done. In the dream He showed me arms reaching out to save the lost souls, to bring them in before it’s too late.

So precious friend, you’re not reading this blog by happenstance. You’re here by divine appointment because God wants you to let go of any toxic thoughts, toxic behaviors. He wants you to be able to be truly free. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope,” Jeremiah 29:11. He’s going to do a new thing in your life from this second forward.
No matter where you are right now, if you can physically stand up, do so, and step out of the old way of thinking. I’m asking the Lord to remove the scales from your eyes, unplug your ears, remove any bitterness from your heart, and to release unto your mind, body, and soul the healing balm of Gilead so that you can laugh more, so you can enjoy your life.
Because He was saying to me, my people are perishing from a lack of sound knowledge and are walking double-minded allowing people and circumstances to rob them of their peace, joy, and divine blessings. “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways,” James 1:8. We must choose to walk single-minded just like Jesus. “In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world,” 1 John 4:17 (Amplified Bible).
Individuals are not wanting to take the time to open their Bible and read it and study it together as husband and wife, as a family unit, and He wants that to happen. Precious friend, He desperately wants you to recommit your relationship with Him so that He is number one in your life.
If you’ve been struggling, then you’ve got to stop, and you’ve got to pause, and you’ve got to pray. You’ve got to ask the Holy Spirit to show you where you screwed up, and repent. Repent for any mistakes that you have made, please repent precious friend, cry out for His mercy. Repent for your spouse, repent for your family, repent for your business, repent for your ministry, repent for this nation, and cry out boldly to God for His mercy and grace, amen.
Transform Your Life Through Prayer-Driven Confession
The words you confess aloud are vitally important and should align with the Word of God. According to Proverbs 4:20 and Proverbs 18, “Death and life are in the power of your tongue.” Matthew 4:4 emphasizes that we must “speak, decree, and declare,” as faith is a matter of the heart. Now I want you to take a second, do a heart check, and ask yourself, “What is in your heart that’s holding you back?” Pause and listen for the Holy Spirit. Is it self-sabotage? Is there bitterness, unforgiveness, pride? Are you afraid to say, I made a mistake? Please forgive me, can we pray?
Faith is a spiritual force that must be expressed through our words. Therefore, it’s essential for you to be diligent and responsible by engaging with the Word of God daily, spending time in His presence in the secret room, and nurturing your relationship even more with your Pappa God. As commanded in Matthew 12, we are meant to multiply and increase, so it’s crucial for you to speak the Word confidently, anticipating God’s answers to your prayers.
Precious friend let’s delve into speaking God’s Word through the Holy Spirit. To do this, you must daily spend time in His presence, read His Word at least 20-minutes each morning, and pray in the Spirit to stay attuned to the Holy Spirit throughout your day. Declare personal healing with verses like Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Timothy 6:12, affirming, “Healing is yours; I believe and receive it in Jesus’ name.”
God builds His church, and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. His mission is to save, heal, deliver, and disciple His people to fulfill the Great Commission. Therefore, we should speak life and be positive to all people we interact with. I encourage you to take a day to listen to your own words. Grab your journal precious friend and record what you say. Then spend your devotional time the next morning reading it.
What are you confessing? What are you confessing to your spouse? How do you communicate with your children? What are your interactions with colleagues or with employees, if you are blessed enough to own a business? If it’s anything other than positive, then you’ve got to stop, pause, and pray and ask the Holy Spirit to give you counsel. You want to be an asset to everybody in your life. Self-reflection in real-time with the Holy Spirit is vitally important. When we are wrong, we need to be able to stop, pause, and say, “I’m sorry, I was wrong.”
It’s okay to say I was wrong
I often reflect on a conversation with someone very special to me, who openly acknowledged that their greatest challenge in life was their inability to admit when they were wrong. This struggle significantly hindered their ability to maintain healthy relationships. Perhaps this resonates with you, precious friend. God desires to help you release that pride, its detrimental to your life and binds you into a negative mindset and is crippling to your walk with Him.
He invites you to come as you are. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you. Father, I pray for every individual reading this blog. I ask that You create a new work in their lives, applying the healing balm of Gilead to their minds, bodies, and souls. Seek the Lord’s guidance on the changes you need to make in your life. Never hesitate to repent, acknowledge your mistakes, and ask for forgiveness.
This is the path to growth. It’s how we mature as Christians and foster healthier relationships. So, precious friend, we must embrace eternal life with conviction. Be bold and speak in faith. Make a firm decision: I will not let go, and I refuse to be deceived any longer. I will trust God’s Word, as highlighted in Colossians 2:15.
As Psalm 60:39 reminds us, “The devil is a defeated foe.” Do not give him any authority or space in your life. Keep the Word of God close to your heart and speak it boldly. Resist yielding to your feelings; instead, surrender to the Holy Spirit, as outlined in Romans 12:1-2. Set aside your emotions and focus on God’s Word, allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you in every step, every action, and every decision.
Key Takeaways

That abundance touches every aspect of our life, including a stable mind, stable relationships, and ultimately a stable marriage. God wants us to have a heavenly marriage, heavenly relationships. Let all connections in our lives be empowered by Him. Amen.
We must hold firmly to eternal life with boldness and speak in faith. Decide now that you will not relinquish what God has promised. Control your feelings and speak the truth of His word. Amen.
